My
Cocoa Beach High School co-hort and fellow bandmate was Steve Varosi . I even did the stroll with him at my debutante party in 1983. Although he was (and still is?) a drummer, he was an awfully smart fellow (and I hope still is). In hindsight, Steve-O was due lots more admiration and respect in 1979-1983 than I knew to give him, and I really DID admire and respect him quite a bit then. I'd like to tell him I'm a better and more courageous singer now, so if he's lookin' for one for his band, I'm available. I'm looking forward to seeing him at our 20-year reunion in 2003.
Here's me now!

Steve Varosi, the Narcoleptic Love-God. How's the Volvo running? Talk to Luke Skywalker recently? How about Ro-Jo? Have you seen that schlump around lately? If you have, keep it to yourself. Noone wants to know.

Steve Varosi's family used to be a family friend of my family back when I lived in Merritt Island due to our Hungarian backgrounds. Although we were years apart in age, me still a kid, idolizing any older guy as a big brother due not being the only child, he was always kind and fun to hang out with.
I totally digged our friendship so much, that during my endeavors to draw cartoons I made a superhero character out of him and wrote his character into many stories that I use now as a Portfolio.
In my archives of photos, I have a couple shots of him from back while he'd be in highschool as I was still in Junior High.
I live in Fort Lauderdale now and last night I ran into somebody that for some reason reminded me of him, so I decided to do a search online and this was the first site I found.
I would love to connect with him if anybody has any information on the guy. Or have him contact me, doesn't matter to me.
Sorry this wasn't that much about him but I'm glad I got to tell somebody.

Holy crap! Steve Varosi has a cartoon superhero named after him! Does he do battle with ROJO or what?
