chris wollard is an amazing musician. his raw vocals combined with his incredible guitar skills make him one of the greats of our time. not to mention that he is in the best band of all time, hot water music.

holygoddamned shit i love hot water music so much they kick so much ass! i work for my dad as an assistant and hes a photographer (heddonphoto.com), and so one day he told me we had a shoot in gainesville and i thought they were still on tour in aussie, but as we drove around gainesville, i felt the energy of the town and i looked around all the shops and i realized how kick ass the town is, then we drove up to this place by a pizza shop and i heard drums and my dad started talkin to this guy about tickets and i found out we were going to see hot water music! i freaked out, it was my dream come true, so we had to wait a while till the show started. we went to some deli on a strip mall and they had a jazz band playing, it was cool, but i was so syked. then when we got back, there was the longest line, and the members were walking around the parking lot and chris w. was talkin to some people in front of me in the line (im guessing they were personal friends) and so he got done and i guess he noticed i had their t-shirt, and i was like so freaked out, but i guess he was drunk, cause he just kind of looked at me like i was an annoying little brother, so, i didnt really get the chance to really talk to any of them, and it was a long time tille they came up, coheed and cambria opened up and like thrice and someone else played too, cant remember, then the final showdown. they started with "position" and led on into the greatest show in my life, but there WERE a few drawbacks. for one, it was HOT so i took off my hwm shirt, and after the show i couldnt find it, it turns out some cheapass stole it, then, my pants got torn at the bottom cause people kept stepping on me, then i went under the "pit waistline" and was stuck and stomped on the "underside". then, like people were crowd surfing and i tried to, but no one would hold me up. but there is no way i can articulate the feeling of moshing and singing the your favorite band, i just want to thank hwm for one of the greatest moments of my life, and i'm really excited to see what new music they have yet to come out with. oh, and need to play here in valdosta georgia, yeah sure its "redneck fuck your sister ville", but we still got a "punk scene"

I just recently picked up Cro(w)s: Durty Bunny with Chris and Bill Clower from Radon, etc. I must say it is an excellent disc.

the hot water music is one of my favorites. i dont know who writes all the words for hwm, but I guessed it was chris because he is the one who describes the meaning of them all in the Live at thh hardback lp. anyhow, he is a genious, and a very down to earth and intelligent and concious man!
