The music started in 4th grade when a new student at my school got on a piano and started busting out mozart. I buddied up with Clint and he became one of my best friends. In the 7th grade I told him he should start a band and he said no one else he knew played an instrument. That year I got a bass guiarist for christmas and for a few years we jammed are way through a couple of drummers, singers, like Robby and boys named Travis and JP. Eventually we came upon Mike Davidson and thats when What About Me Started. Clint wrote pretty much all the songs and taught me how to play them on the bass. Some of the names of them were The Punk Song, The Song of Vomit, Georgie Porgie and the like. We played Mary Thomas' birthday party along with Division Smegma. In the 10th my family moved to Costa Rica and they found a replacement for what at that time was a ska band. They chose Jason Dobson former bass player for Division Smegma. When I moved back there was animosity between me and Jason at first when I met him. But only for the first meeting. We became pretty good friends and I was still welcome to come and listen in on all the practices. Eventually they evolved into Emo and I would say that they just got better and better. Now Clint lives in Orlando and I havent heard his now band but I hear it's really good and dont doubt that it is. Clint if you read this send me some mp3s or mail me a cd. I love everyone who was ever associated with the music over at Clints house. Howard

Tony Buzzella, Jr. is currently living in Hawaii as a member of the U.S. Army's 25th Infantry "Lightning Band". He was selected to the Army Band during his senior year at Columbia High - Lake City in 1998. He attended the Military Music Academy in Norfolk Virginia after boot camp and was assigned to Fort Benning, Georgia prior to his current post in Hawaii. He was recently promoted to the rank of Sargeant and is scheduled to be deployed to Afganistan in November 2004. Tony, Jr. started playing drums when his dad, Tony Buzzella, Sr (that's me), was band director at Suwannee High(1980-82)and at Columbia High (1982-85). I remember Tony, Jr. watching Jim Emerson play trumpet with Jack Oliva on piano, Lee Felton on Tuba and Mike Pakrifka on drums. I think it was our gig at the Thomas Center in 1995 that sold Tony, Jr. on a career of music. He still considers Mike P. the best show drummers in the business. I agree! id uhas played i
