Jose Martinez was in another band from Gainesville known as The Rails in the 1980s. They relocated to Miami circa 1990 and played many shows there at venues such as Washington Square and Churchill's Hideaway. Same name, totally different band. Maybe there should be a The Rails (Mark I) and The Rails (Mark II) to differentiate or something. Now ya know.
