I was a freshman when we had this band. Jeremy Rogers lived in this little bedroom built into someone's garage way out in Haile Plantation, and that was where we rehearsed. He had a roommate who was also in the band, at least in theory, but I don't remember his name. That'll tell you how serious this band was. Anyhow, we'd squeeze into this tiny room and try and play Jawbreaker and NOFX songs, but it was hard because you had to hold your guitars real funny, almost vertical, for us all to be able to stand in there at once. We were big on trading instruments, too. Mike wanted me to learn to play the bassline to "Want" so he could sing it - I wrestled with that one for awhile. I sang one time. Yuh. Magic.

We played one show at the Round Room in the Ramada Limited, Daytona Beach, at an all day punk show that Ryan and Willie from Hope Springs Eternal had set up (Mike was close buds with them from the old school, yo!). Moonraker played that show, and they were awesome, and Tired from now on, and Palatka, and that band Hudson, from, I think, Hudson, and Hope Springs finished it up. It was cool of the Ramada to let that go on, actually, because the Round Room was right above the check-in desk and there were screaming guitars and amp fuzz vibrating down there all day. It was fun to sit down there and watch people who didn't know what was going on come in, and see all these punk kids milling around.
