I remember they're one and only show at Full Cirle. It was one of their first shows and they weren't quite polished yet- anyway, Becky stopped after the first few bars of a song and that really pissed all of the other girls off. Soon bottles were flying and Becky and Chrissy were cursing each other out. I don't even remember if they finished the set- I remember that I liked it though-

I saw Mahoney at the covered dish, and aside from them all being really cute, they rocked harder and had better songs than alot of other gainesville bands. Except for maybe, oh well, nevermind. They are awesome. I wonder what they are doing now?

With all due respect to everyone in Mahoney, a rocking and cool band all around, I always thought of the members as being Madelyn, Not Madelyn, Not Madelyn and Not Madelyn...

I loved Mahoney. I have to say that my favorite memory of Mahoney was when the Chairs played with them at The Hardback Cafe in 1999? We covered Neil Young's "Keep on rockin in the free world" with two full drum sets, barry sax, violin, bass, and a million guitars and vocals. It sounded so anyways. The whole place was moshing with the bands. It was great fun.
