I saw Eeeena laying drunk on the floor at that show.... was definitely the highlight!

Indeed we did rock, Matt. Oh, how I miss the halcyon days of piercing headaches from belting high notes for that extra minute, and rocking out in a cocktail dress and fishnet tights... The opening to "Gabriel's Stepchild" is probably my personal favorite moment from our repetoire. Just Matthew playing keyboard, and me singing harmony with his melody, winding up to a high B flat and then down to the lowest part of my range... lovely.

Gabriel's Stepchild: Best. Visitor song. EVER! Well, okay, the others were good too. I remember playing at ye olde Brick City Music Hall on Friday night and then The Hardback/Lyric the next night. I liked the BCMH venue, but the show the next night was just by far better, and I don't think it was because we were simply warmed up. The Lyric show just flowed. Too bad there weren't more people there. And I'll never forget the show at University Club. Note out there to aspiring musicians: although you *can*, in fact, have four martinis before a set, unless your proficient participation is optional to the music, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend it.
