The best drummer I ever worked with, period. Robby played drums like they had melodies and harmonies. I worked with him in Seraphim, admired his work in Popcanon, and worked with him again in a local production of "Jesus Christ Superstar", a one-time show put on by members of Popcanon, Spike the Cat, Martha Quinn's Posse and Visitor.
I played the role of Judas, and we were finishing the seemingly endless "Jesus Christ Superstar" number, I spontaneously decided to cross myself, something we hadn't done in rehearsals. I remember touching my forehead, chest, left shoulder, right shoulder, and my lips - and Robby hit the highhat with every touch. I had my back to him, was fifteen feet away, and he still picked up on it. Several people thought it was staged, but it wasn't - he was just that good. Brilliant.
