These guys were fun. I remember a Halloween show where Farone was dressed as the Evil Smurfette. But he's not in the band.

They rocked.

I wish they could do a reunion show, and I also wish I could actually go to see it (but now I'm out of town).

Martha Quinn's Posse. Now there was a great cover band. I remember going to their halloween show at Rickenbacher's... I was dressed as Lisa Simpson, and I was standing at the back when they started playing "Big Country". The whole room started bouncing up and down at the same time. If you crouched down (which I did), you could almost see all the way across the floor to the lip of the stage inbetween bounces... I remember Amy pulling me up on stage to do the dual-chicks-on-the-keyboard shtick during Prince's "1999", flowerpots on the front of the stage suddenly becoming hats for Devo's "Whip It"... MQP was a whole freaking show. My personal favorite experience with MQP was performing "Bohemian Rhapsody" with them at a Covered Dish AIDS benefit. Hitting the high harmony note just before the uber-rock bridge, and then looking out at about 300 people packed in like sardines, banging their heads and holding up the international sign language symbol for "ROCK"... That was just cool.
