what a life. we crapped out early. one bad review and a loathsome cover of "don't fear the reaper" later, and we were no more. i loved us. i still do.

just discovered this odd little site while randomly entering gabe fowler's name into search engines. you want articles? well, this is what happened to all of us. gabe is now in chicago manufacturing electric beer cans that shock the holder beyond belief. mark griffey started up a label in san francisco called snowglobe records. he's got some mp3's and such on there. pretty in keeping with griffey's pop sensiblity. jeff hays moved out there too. they are double dating a family with marriage in the works. good luck. ed moved to orlando. him and kristy moss make good tunes with good people. it's called con dolore. here it is. me, i moved to the middle of nowhere. still making crappy music too. checkit so, though no one should give a shit, we are all alive and well. and we search in vain for todd campisi to damn him for sticking us with that horrible name. oh, and harlan is alive too. he rides bikes in mountains.

That's funny, I thought Congratulations Fruit were all killed in a hovercraft wreck while touring in Tokyo...

we didn't really crap out that early. we were around for 2 years. michael peccio attended many of our shows and was often disappointed. our best show was at kristen king's party, in my opinion. we played four songs to a packed house. the girls were looking good that night. i had just gotten a good haircut. the keyboards were in tune and actually turned on for a good portion of the show. we played some troll songs and some 80's video game stuff. in my opinion, that was the most fun shit to play ever. another show we built 3 giant slices of cheese out of wood and put the keyboards on them. i think it was too dark in the club and no one even noticed.

This band was good until my band, Szechwan Pork, moved to town and stepped up to their shit. Then they were better, but we were best. They hosted a show in their living room, us and them, and it was one of the best nights of my musical life. JESUS 2!! ONWARD!!
