I saw NDolphin perform about ten years ago in the Florida Theater, just before the Gulf War. I thought they were wonderful. I have been looking in vain for recordings by this group. Anyone with information please contact me and thank you.

I have an old tape of NDolphin from way back when. Wouldn't be a problem to digitize it, burn it to CD, or convert to .mp3. Tho, I wouldn't want to step on any "royalty" toes... Are there any NDolphin-ites still around? Josh? An?? Would this be cool to do?

I've been priviledged to see NDolphin many times and still listen the their 2 releases as part of my musical repertoire. My best memory is of a show they played with Aleka's Attic in some feild, of which I only remember being not how I came to be, where the tea o' mushroom was abundant and the night full of musical pleasure. I even have some pictures from that night to look back to. Also, I recorded a live show of NDolphin to video and look back often to remind myself there was a time when Gainesville had a place to go and lose yourself in an entirely good place. I miss the music that should have been created by this band.
Yeah, I was there. It was actually a life-changing evening for me. That was the night I threw what was left of my Camel Lights into the woods (sorry Echo) and quit for 3 months! I did jam with NDolphin that night as well as many other times, but I wasn't actually ever in the band (for the record). That night was a memory I will never forget.

This was an amazing band. My big sister used to drive me to all of their concerts since I was too young to drive at the time. I still find the song "I'm so Broke" (maybe) running through my head at times. Best memory comes from a night they were playing in a field...I cannot remember where or when. Someone streaked novocain across my lips as a joke and I found it hilarious that I could not drink water for the next hour or so. I fell asleep with my head on the stomach of one of my sister's friends listening to great music.

I had the infinite pleasure of accompanying Jeff Shores and dozens of other faithfuls to many NDolphin shows in the Gainesville area back in the day and are among my best memories of a great era in local music. I can still remember them playing in a club on Main st. next to university ave. and waiting for Ani to show up...all the while the band just lit up the air with some incredible jams...Or is the best memory of their new band The Space Masons playing upstairs for two shows at Full Circle...or perhaps the show at the University Hotel with everyone singing "Fat One"...Of course that night in the field under that tarp with Alekas Attic thanking them "for the nature" was awesome too...glad to have experienced it..and I still pick up the guitar and play their tunes as people say "wow..is that your song"..nahg its not mine, but it is a part of who I am today...you guys were a gauranteed great time!!!!Thanks for the great nights of fun

It isn't often that you come across a sound that is so original, so relevant, so poignant, that it touches you even 15 years later. Times and circumstances may have changed dramatically for me over the years but NDolphin remains one of my favorite bands of all-time. Thank you Ane, Chris, Finn and Jack, for this indelible gift...
FYI:
Josh & Ane live in Athens GA.
Josh is heading up the band Macha, Ane has a band too. Cant remember the name

I LOVED NDOLPHIN-
I saw them live in Poughkeepsie New York (with Alekas Attic) around 1990-ish.
They were so groundbreaking and ahead of their time--that night was so inspiring for me.
I had their tape but I wore it out-- I would love to get it in a digital format.
I will have to look for the projects they are working on now!
Thanks!

Amazing that I can't remember a word of Spanish that I took 4 years of, but I can still sing almost every word of "So Baroque" even though I haven't heard it in... oh, 13 years now? I saw NDolphin several times, the best show I remember was at this short-lived little club on north 13th street right near that pizza place... I think it's a restaurant now. I even remember the lead singer's whole name- Aneliesa- and thought at the time it was the most gorgeous name I had ever heard. I had such a monstrous crush on her.
I would definitely love to have some of their music again, if no one has put their music on file-sharing by now please contact the band and try to obtain permission!
Hey, is this the Andi Thomas that went to EHS with me? How the hell are you? It's funny, because I remember listening to "Money Hungry Shit Fuck" on your NDolphin tape in spanish class. Or maybe it was oen of those IB test days, where everyone just sort of lingers around doing nothing. In any case, I thought it was just SO cool that you knew LOCAL bands. I was very sheltered.
If this is a different Andi Thomas, then nevermind.
Yep, it's me. I've been married 8 years, got 3 awesome kids now. You *were* very sheltered, do you remember telling me that dinosaurs were a trick by Satan? That was back in, oh, 9th grade? And now you are known for your cow-print teddies. You've come a long way, baby!
Jessica Dandona sent me this link, ah the wonders of the internet.
That's so great. The last time I saw you, I think you were working on number one. Crazy how things turn out. It's also funny that my senior year "what will he be doing in 10 years?" prediction was that I would be playing saxophone on the streets in New York City. 12 years later, that's exactly what I was doing!
NDolphin would have been a lot better without Ane Diaz.
