I used to play drums in the Romeros, the greatest punk band Deltona, FL, ever saw. We knew the Lexingtons (specifically their bassist Replay Dave) and played a St. Patty's Day show with them in 1998 or 1999 in DeLand, FL. They played some straight-up ball-busting punk and blew us the hell off the stage (or off the living room, as this was a house party). Replay was dressed like a Leprechaun that glorious night, and their drummer sat bare-ass naked on my drum stool.
If anyone cares, I do a webzine now @ http://www.cornuzine.com. We're working on getting a Romeros anthology CD together. I'm sure it'll be bigger than "Sgt. Pepper."

Virus 13 and the Lexingtons had the most fierce band rivalry in the history of g'ville. I'll always remember how they fucked up our last show at the Hardback by spreading beans all over our guitars, and then how they cried and begged for us not to ruin their performance on the last night of the Hardback. We went ahead and let them play, and it did turn out to be a crazy and excellent night, but I'll still never forgive those bastards. Keep rockin guys.
