"With Crashpad you always know what your gonna get."
-Jim Doherty
Oof! Truer words were never spoken.
How 'bout an old-school punk rock version of Lawyers in Love? After all, if you're going to suck you may as well suck spectacularly. But you already know that dontcha Kroog? Uh oh, you seem to have soiled your legal briefs!

Actually Doug, our new cover is going to be "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling," with two new verses after the traditional first verse:
A thousand years of oppression
Will make you stop and think.
Or p'raps pick up a rifle.
Or drive a man ta drink.
Well Irish eyes are cryin'
'Cause they're buryin' dead today
As the Orangemen go marchin'
Singin toorah-loorah-ay-ai!
[punkabilly Berryesque/Thundersesque/Jonesesque solo over one verse]
Well Irish eyes are smilin',
'Cause they're turnin in their guns.
And they're beatin' swords to plowshares,
Though they've only just begun.
Well Irish eyes are happy,
'Cause there's no more bombs today.
And their eyes will brim with tears o' joy
When the soldiers have gone away.
[outro punkabilly Berryesque/Thundersesque/Jonesesque solo over one verse]
It won't suck.

What's going on here? You have listed two people nicknamed "Unhinged" and two people nicknamed "Crashpad."

Well, both Adam and Vinny had been in the band Unhinged immediately prior to their stint in Crash Pad, so they were known as Adam Unhinged and Vinny Unhinged.
We sort of informally started taking names from our next preceding band, if people wanted to even bother with made-up last names (many did not), but in my case Moe Rodriguez had already started calling me "Brian Crashpad," so I was stuck with that, although I changed the spelling to start it with a K so my band initials would be the same as my "real" initials.
In J.T.'s case, for a long time he simply went as J.T. in the band. However, he left Crash Pad for a time and then came back a year later or so. When he came back he decided to start using a last name, and at that point his next prior band was also Crash Pad, so he decided to now be "J.T. Crashpad."
Basically, it's just us being silly without too much rhyme or reason to it.
A lot like our shows.
