Jared is one of the best songwriters in the music industry today and it is only a matter of time that the whole world will know that.

not only was flamm (short for flammowitz, make no mistake)one of the most obnoxious people i have ever met, and not only did he choose to defrost his mini-fridge on my front doorstep as a prank, but he actually used my name in one of his dopey, half-baked, style-less rock songs without even doing me the courtesy of asking...

You should be honored to have your name mentioned in one of Jared's songs as it will probably the only glipse of fame that you will ever attain.

The boy can write some good tunes. Why bicker? Why be upset at your mini-fridge incident 10 years ago? Thank God success can't be judged from postings to this site, or we'd all be in a bad place. Jared is has become one of the finest individuals I know (I used to have a different opinion). He works his ass off, and has more integrity and dedication than most. What's up my friend?

to WHATEVER: exactly how much baggage do you have to carry around? A 10 year old incident that lingers on in your mind? Grow up@!

i'm sure our lovely flammowitz is 'succeeding' in his own right, and believe me, i think about him much more rarely than, say, the fuzzy stuff between my toes after a long day (which i very rarely think about, in case you were wondering), i just hope he is being honest with himself and not still being an ass to the people who care about him... that's all

I see the bantering going on between "whatever" and other people on this site and it seems this guy just can't over an insignificant insident from many years ago. I looks to me he's jeolous of this guy...and it looks like he should be !!

i'm sorry... the song that jared wrote with my name in it... sucked. it just did. it was trite, lackluster and completely unbefitting the glory of my name, and also had nothing to do with me as a person. now perhaps it's true that the best art lifts themes and motifs from other art, but this was a case of someone trying to achieve greatness through the equivalent of copyright infringement. and no, to be perfectly honest, i don't really hold any grudges about any of it (the mini fridge, my name being used, jared's general obstinace), but it's just so touching to see you go on and on in jared's defense, i can't resist the temptation to dip in and stir the pot every now and then. jared, if you're out there... gimme a call sometime. -- jerry

I see this "Jerry" is still going on about this song thing from years ago...I am a songwriter also and I bet he just used your name as he would any other lyric.According to some of the others who have written in he seems quite busy so I would doubt he even remembers you or even the song! Time to move on.

I came upon this site after doing a search for my favorite band during my college years, "Noah's Red Tattoo". Jared was one great singer. I went to UF during the 90's and NRT was the band to see in G'ville. My friends and I loved to go to the Covered Dish and listen to these guys play. I remember the song that is being talked about in these articles, "Silverman" from one of the early NRT cd's. It's a very cool tune with clever lryics and was often requested at NRT's concerts. That guy should be honored they did a song about him. Anyway Im glad I found this very cool site and your readers should check out some of Noah's Red Tattoo's music. Everyone has one band that they loved in college and NRT was mine !!!!
