i was in clambake. i played guitar. we sounded exactly A LOT like the sea and cake with violin. we played one sort of high profile show at a festival in gainesville and we just played two chords over and over for fifteen minutes. yeah, it was bad. but we did have a few pretty good songs. ed wrote most of the stuff i think. this band actually morphed into congrats fruit. during one practice i busted out the polymoog and played a new song that chuck said was "fuckin circus music" and he stormed out. thus began congrats fruit.
