I jammed with this band back in '95.Zach came up with some damn catchy songs. The kind of songs that stayed in your head all day.I think this band could of gone far if they made the right connections. They definately had that mtv alterna-pop thing happening.Very radio friendly for the mid 90's.I wonder what Zach is doing these days? I'm sure he's still writing those damn infectious songs.

Yep its me,, I was the starting drummer in this band and Zach,Jeremy, and myself started this banned. We practiced on south main street and it was killer. We came up with some really great music and practiced VERY hard. Zach, though I love him dearly, felt we were never really good enough in his TERMS to play out. I had my heart into playing,, but Zach would play with all kinds of other people and that really wasn't cool with me. The band (needed) his full attention and the close of this band,,though really strong and POWERFUL,, with the songs written by Zach. He is a dear friend and I always wonder were that band would have gone if we really played it out. Jeremy is an excellent bassist and always a box of laughs. He was a much better player then what I had ever played with and he taught me alot. Zach,, well his drive to make it big was so strong. All,,he wanted to do was dig arrow heads and play music, I respect that of him,, and we had some great times digging and playing. I orginally came up with the name Mangrove because Zach lived in Sarasota,,and I thaught of how much they clean the water and swamps of south Florida. I guess it stuck and he kept it for a while. I would love to hear his band to see if he is still playing some of the songs he and I came up with. We did a ton of shit and though I went my own way to be a world class cyclist, I miss playing with Zach. I wish him well and Yes,, I moved back to Hawthorne!! I don't play in a band but I still jam buy myself. I haven't heard about Jeremy,, but I did Google Zach,, and it looks like he is happy.
Take care,, The Sweet Pickle
