Hi,
I'm looking for any recordings of the Tone Unknown that contain the song "Rococo People". The drummer in my first band (who was from gainseville i think) - back in 1991 played me a recording of these guys - once - way back then - and i still walk around singing "...a dog in a sweater...a baby on a leash..." . Loved that trombone. This band was way cool.
If anybody knows where i can find a recording, let me know at clarkgordon@yahoo.com
thanks,
clark

I remember rooming with the members of the Tone in one house.....the guys and me....the token chick. They were great on stage but what a bunch of slobs! More batchelor than others. Also, Darryl Palmer played typwriter for the Tone for a while also. Don't forget Darryl!

I've updated the Tone Unknown website: http://toneunknown.com and uploaded the rest of the songs from the album "Burn." I've also put up links to archives that allow you to download each album in it's entirety. All of the studio recordings we did are now online for free and easy downloads. Please pass this link around to whoever might want it. I'd like for the music to be available to the folks that dig it-- I'm sure everyone's tapes are dead or dying-- but the music isn't...

Rob Is and Jorge Navarro are my idols. Although Henry is very close to the top of that list. I think that Jorge is in New York posing as a cowboy, and Rob - has given his life to Buddha? Of course my information is very old. Nevertheless, reading all of these brings back very fond memories for me. Thanks. Christina (PS, I do drive an SUV, with one child, but no white picket fence).
