Found this on the Smart Bomb branch of the family tree.
Mr. Turtletaub,
My client, Brian Kruger Esq., prefers at all times to be called "Krashpad". Mr. Kruger requires this rock n' roll moniker to lend credibility , or "cred", to his punk rock lawyer persona. The unauthorized nickname "Kroog" does not conjure the devil-may-care rock star aura my client wishes to convey. Please cease and desist referring to him in this manner.
Be advised that any and all legal remedies will be pursued in this matter.
Sincerely,
Brock Linahan

Haha, hilarious.
I suspect Doug Jordan. Except for college buddies I use to live with in the early 80s, Doug is the only person who still calls me, or for that matter probably even remembers anyone else calling me, "Kroog."

BK, I can assure you that I am none of the above posters (Yancey Abernathy, Brock Linahan, et al).
In fact, they are all obviously one person - likely some disgruntled oldschooler who obviously has some kind of obsession with you and I.
I'm not sure why, but it seems that we are the most frequent targets of Mr. Linahan's barbarous jibes. (Oh, and incidentally, whoever it is obviously loved SCTV.)
Anyway, water off a duck's arse as far as I'm concerned.
Party on, "Brock."

Mr. Jordan,
My client, Brock Linahan Esq., wishes to advise you in the strongest possible terms that he objects to the following:
A.) Your parenthetic, and hence dismissive reference to him as "Brock." As Brock Linahan Esq. is an esteemed Crown barrister, he feels, and I agree, that your careless words and punctuation border on libel.
B.) Your baseless assertion that Brock Linahan Esq. is "obviously a fan of SCTV." Though he is from Canada, Mr. Linahan has never found SCTV to be amusing.
C.) Your contention that Brock Linahan Esq. is a "disgruntled oldschooler." I can assure you that my client is fully gruntled, and to intimate otherwise is to open yourself to possible legal action.
If a full retraction is not issued forthwith, I shall consider all of the legal responses available to my client and act accordingly.
Sincerely,
Yancey Abernathy
