I agree that Roger Manganelli is one of the best looking bass players around and in my view the best looking male around. My only life ambition is to meet Roger. I've met Roger on numerous occasions. Once when I worked at Spencer's in the Oaks mall..Once at warped tour '99 in Illinois, again at soul house right before Vinnie's bachelor party (got invited by Roger, but Chris is a dick and gave us wrong directions) and at a show in Ft. Myers where they played with Against All Authority and Mid Carson. I have to say this about Roger: He's about the nicest musician that I've met. Every time I see him he remembers my name, who I am, etc.. On top of that, he's an extremely talented bass player. I play bass myself and have a good eye for things like that. Roger and Buddy are both really nice. Me and a friend went to The Fest in Gainesville back in May and we didn't know anyone there. When we went to pick up our weekend passes for the event, Buddy was there helping out. I told him we were from Indiana and that my baby girl, Penny Lane, loved their band and sang along to Great American Sharp Shooter. He got all excited and said he'd just answered my letter about Penny just two days before. In the letter I had told him about how much she loves LTJ and had sent a picture of her for them to sign and return. Buddy and his wife both thought she was so cute, he kept the picture and sent her an autographed sticker instead. How sweet! Well, we talked a little and I asked him if Rog might sell me a PEZ dispencer that I've been wanting for the past 5 years. He said Rog would be at the show that night so I could ask him then. I got to the show and Rog said he wouldn't sell me the dispencer but he would give it to me. He laughed when I told him the dispencer I had been looking for. It was an Arlene, from the Garfield collection. I had all of them but her. He said that was the dispencer that got him into collecting PEZ. Vinnie had just started collecting and Rog's roomate had an Arlene that Vinnie wanted so Rog stole it for him. Rog thought it was funny so he started collecting too. After telling the story, he asked if there were any other dispencers I wanted and I told him I also needed an Oblix. We talked PEZ for a while (I collect too), then Buddy came over and we talked about TV, movies, cars, etc. We watched a lot of shows that night. Rog is my favorite musician so spending time with him was awesome. The next night was just as great. Rog has another band called Rehasher and they played their first show that night. Rog sings and plays guitar for the band, and if you think he's amazing on bass, wait until you see him on guitar. His mom showed up to watch the show (Roger's mom rules!) and I talked with her some. I asked if she had any cute baby pictures of him but she didn't have any with her, bummer. Rehasher's show was great. Before the show, I surprised Roger by giving him his first Jango Fett PEZ dispencer. He was so happy. He remembered my dispencers and ran home to get them for me. That really made my night. After his show, Roger was going around, secretely sticking Rehasher stickers on the backs of unsuspecting club goers. He'd come up to them, pat them on the back and rub a sticker on in the process. He's hilarious! My friend and I had so much fun in Gainesville. The guys from LTJ are so friendly. I don't think our visit would have been complete without them.

Roger is very talented and a great bass player. He is really i should say extremely hot. Less Than Jake are gonna be one of the biggest bands soon. They are to good not to be recognized. If you have not seen them live...i highly suggest you do go see them. I would HIGHLY suggest seeing them on the Civic Tour.

Wow, some of you people are real sickos. Anyway, LTJ is fuckin great, and Roger is an awesome guy. His stage prescence is amazing, and he was really nice when I met him also. Yes, he's incredibly hot too, but he just rocks in general. I just saw them last night again at the Civic Center in NJ. Of course, they blew NFG and GC(who sucks ass) away and they were my only reason for going to the show in the first place. Although it sucked that there were seats, I was front row, and Roger walked over to me and gave me his pick. After the show, Chris invited us to their after party. So this is totally crazy! I never realized how many other people are crazy about roger... I can remember the first time I heard them, at the warped tour way back in 1995 or 1996..I heard his voice, and it totally intrigued me..ever since I've bought every album, and have seen them any time they've come around...They are amazing! I totally respect how they have gotten so much bigger and more popular in the past 8 years, yet they are still the same bunch of goofy down to earth guys I met way back when. So anyways..I went to see them last night at Toad's Place in New Haven and it was awesome, Rog even gave me the shirt off his back *sigh* however when I was hanging around after the sho, he totally got on the tour bus with the skankiest hoe at the entire show..I mean this girl actually asked me to back up and stop dancing near her cause she was starting to sweat... I saw them 3 times in the past 2 weeks. I went the the Northampton, MA show, the New Haven, CT show and the Kingston,RI show. The New Haven show was defiently the best. The best performance, and crowd (minus skanky girl), as well as the best venue. northampton was to small and crowded with too many young kids who didnt really care about less than jake, just the bands they were playing with, rhode island was in an arena and that is never as much fun. but all in all i'm glad I went to all of the shows I'm just looking forward to seeing them this summer in the Project Revolution tour, as well as the 10th anniversary warped tour in boston! good times!!!!

Saw them at manchester apollo last saturday, it was amazing!!! I got my mum and dad to take us from newcastle to machester, we queued for 3 hours, and remembered that id left the tickets in the back of the car so my mum n dad had to come back from the cinema to bring us our tickets. they were't too happy lol. But yeh anyways we got right down to the front n i sang really loud and out of tune to every song and roger who was just in front of us and he smiled at me. but then mel, my friend, caught his pick, and im so jealous!! and they played Johnny Quest thinks we're sellouts which is one of my favourite songs. It was my first Less Than Jake gig and it was amazing!!! Im very very happy. And that girl who went up to play in the matchmakers game whilst Dopeman was played was only about 12 yrs old! !!!Less than Jake rule!!!

Hey all u LTJ fans! I just got back from my lil Less Than Jake concert spree. I was fortunate enough to see them both Sunday and Monday. The show on Sunday was awesome! I love seein them do their thing. They played at a club in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Earlier that day we went to lunch with Chris, and I almost painted Rogers nails for him...long story lol. Mondays show was good. It was only a half hour long, but they sounded great! Chris jumped in the crowd and ran up and down the aisles, which was pretty great! This page is hilarious! I got to see LTJ twice in the beginning of September. Once in WI and then 4 days later in Vegas. Met all the guys in Vegas and got some really great autographs. I couldn't believe that Rog was the same height as me, i'm 5'5! OK maybe he's a tiny bit taller. ALL of ltj are nice as hell, but Rog and Vinnie are definately lickable ;)

I think it's funny how the guys lie on stage.... I went to see them this year in Leeds, England, and Chris announced that it was his 28th birthday... then, last month i bought their new DVD, and in one of the shows on there, chris is onstage in vegas and again announces his 28th birthday. After reading some of the shit on here too, i've come to the conclusion the guys are up for a laugh! At the Leeds gig, chris also told a group of fans before the gig tha Roger had left the band and was being replaced by Chris from Bowling for Soup...of course that was a lie - he addmitted it later on stage! tee hee hee

I agree, that Roger Manganelli is one of the hottest bass players....EVER! I would like to know how old he is! I love his hair...i've never seen anything like it!
