I went to Gainesville High with McGuigan. He lived next door to my buddy Robert Simring. I remember him wearing a "Never Mind the Bollocks" t-shirt to school. Never spoke to him until Robert Hanrahan and I picked him up to go see "Creepshow 2" in the summer of '87. McGuigan was legendary. I swear I remember he dyed his hair blonde in high school once and wore a bandanna. It was a rockabilly thing at the time--say, The Blasters. I saw i.e. play once and thought they were quite good and I always thought that was a great name for an instrumental band.
