Shit! and nobody's written about Tom Miller...
What is there to say about Tom? He is like no other. He brought to the gainesville scene a wackyness and fun that cannot be repeated. Does anyone still have a Tom Miller butt print? Those could be worth $$ some day. I still get "Mullet Head" and others stuck in my head.

I remember the Tom Miller shows at Gainesville's Full Circle, and those shows were the shit! My girl and I fell in love at a Miller show. I saw Miller host hempfests and run for office, and scare the shit out of the police and the politicians, and really help to make Gainesville something special.
Artists like him are hidden from the mainstream public money tit. Miller, if i ever had a million dollars, I'd give it to you just to see what you'd come up with.
Keep rocking, and stirring up the pot,
Phil
What a strange trip the web is! I joined one of this guy's bands in high school (that would be the one in the list labeled Penguin) but it went on for almost ten years after that. That was a pretty strange trip too. Tom's a freakin' genius. I wonder what he's up to today?

Tom Miller. Words fail me, to be honest. As the bassist in Fuckable Art, I could have asked for no better man on the styrofoam cups and briefcase than Tom. As a nineteen-year kid abandoning scholastic pursuits for a life in music, I could have had no better example of what could be accomplished when you say "fuck it" and ink up your butt. I, too, was the proud owner of a Miller butt print, and I rue the day a girlfriend threw it out (she was thrown out shortly thereafter. Coincidence?)
I could go on, but suffice to say, Tom Miller, the Incredible Fellow, left an impact that I feel a decade later.
Thank you, Tom
