Mistress was formed in Ft Myers by Bev Ambort, Juli Brasington & Brenda Breninger during about '81. The band played extensively in South Fla & South Ga. In 1982 the band moved to Seattle, Washington & was managed out that area. The band toured Washington State, Oregon, Jackson Hole area...then completed a one year tour in the PAcific Northwest, including Vancover, British Comlubia, Yukon & Alaska. This was an all girl group played rock & pop covers, playing in med to lg club venues. The band had an invitation for a USO tour ...unforunately they had to cancel. The band folded before killing each other. Something about being on the road for all those years together. hehehe

Mistress continued working adding new members when Juli and Lois chose marriage over the band. Brenda and Beverly then became Playmate with Harry Cassano on keyboards and Barry H on Bass Guitar. Working the midwest and Alaska. Also working on the cruise ships in miami going to cosomel, playa del carma, bahamas, etc. Brenda has continued playing guitar and singing at southwest florida blues festivals the last 4 years. Still strong in music field. Beverly was hired by Big Brother and the Holding Company as Janis Joplin in a tribute tour. Mistress was orginated by Brenda.
