I would just like 2 say that Alekas Attic should be allowed to sell their albums that have the best actor in the world (and my No 1 hunk) River Phoenix because you can tell they worked so hard for it. They believed in something and gave their best shot and succeeded. Flea(Red Hot Chilli Peppers) and Rivers Sisters should try their best to get it out there no matter how many asses it kicks . I think aleka's attic rocked and their album should be released because the band worked hard for it. Also it had my number 1 signger and actor in river phoenix, and after rivers terrible death it should be out, he was a great man and it is a shame that he is gone his family should try and get it out for him because he loved singing and he would be very happy if it was realesed, I would buy it. River was the best person that ever existed. He tried so hard for the world to be a better place and it threw it in his face. I think his music should be heard because music was his number 1 love and he was allowed to show the world his acting so why can't he show everyone something really worthwhile. Sometimes I resent him for leaving us all like that but then I think about and realise it's our fault. We all know that it was the way people were treating him (he hated stardom) but we wouldn't stop and it was the end of him. R.I.P River.

You know I've been silent for quite some time, ever so often reading things about River on the net, especially people gloryfing him as a saint or something. He was a beautiful person with a good heart. That I cannot deny, but ladies, don't fool yourselves. Wake up. River was fucked up and on a lot of drugs and alcohol and many other things. He was cruel to a lot of his friends and local musicians. Basically without going into details, he was nowhere close to a saint, but a human being. If you would have lived in Gainesville and seeing him making an ass of himself at many gatherings, you would know what I mean. The world threw nothing more in his face than it does any other person that comes to this planet. He fucked himself up and self destructed. This comes from a person who loves him. Jim Morrison was an asshole too. No saints or prophets here. As for Aleka's music, apparently it cannot be released because of greedy or emotionally deranged ex-band members. The music needs to be heard I agree. When bullshit affects music, that is the worst crime. I am quite sure Aleka's drummer would feel that way, but it's the other guys I believe that are holding it back. Bless Rain for working hard on releasing it, even if she has to take the bastards tracks off the thing and just strip it down to guitar, voice and drum. If you focus on his talent and inspiration and not his life and personality with elevating him to some bs guru status and listen to what he was really communicating in the music IF it actually gets released, then maybe you may learn something about who he really was and how he really felt about life. If he was truly joyful and happy person then, he would still be with us.

To me and many other people i am sure that river phoenix was more than an ordinary person.As we can see he was very passionate about his music, acting and environmental issues.I would be lost without knowing who River is.I ejoyed reading every word of the biography on River Phoenix by Brian.j.Robb and i recomend it to anyone who likes to learn about River's life.I dont know him personally but i am sure you would agree he is amazing.R.I.P River,there will always be a candle lit for you. kate.
