A Big ol' "My Bad" and Sorry to all you Jake fans that come here everyday and make the LTJ and Roger sections the most active of this site. I was trying to clean out all the bad data from LTJ's musician page (NOTE: "#1 fan" is NOT a band member position). I hit the wrong button, and POOF, all LTJ info is gone (band members, articles, files, etc...). The Member's pages are still up, but they're not listed as being in LTJ. I re-added Roger, so all you love-struck tweens wouldn't get too upset. Now it's up the the rest of you out there to add the rest of LTJ's members to the LTJ page here. Look to the left; see where it says "Add a musician for this band: "? Add the member's name under "musician Name" and the instrument they played under "Instrument" (you can put the years they were in the band in Parenthesis there, too). And hey, let's not be adding fake members and stuff. That's just lame, and it ruins the point. If you see a someone listed as a member, and you know they're not, please click on the instrument to bring up a window for corrections, and write BS! in the instrument field. Got it? Great. Once again, sorry about it, and you guys are the best. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Roger!!!!!

so, this board has died. Let's ask a few questions to reincarnate it: 1 When did you first hear of LTJ? 2 How many shows did you see by them? 3 Do you have any reviews of these shows? (oohee i collect ltj show reviews and will put them on the web if i ever finish my site) 4 Are you going to any upcoming shows? me: 1 - at least two years ago, maybe more. i first heard "Dopeman", but unfortunately it was a very poor quality mp3 so i didn't get into them until about a year and a half ago when i wanted to redo my mix tape and needed more LTJ songs for the mix. I heard "History of a Boring Town" and was completely hooked, and I have been ever since. 2 - Only one... but nobody ever comes to Paris (where I live btw). It was actually at the Boston Warped Tour last summer.I hope I can go to the reunion show this year. 3 - Yeah... I'll post it soon. 4 - I'm going to the Plymouth show in 17 days (i SO can't wait!!!!!!), and hopefully the Boston Warped Anniversary show.

i remembr the first ltj cd i bot, i woz on holiday cn my mom friend(!) in england about 3/4 years ago(i live in scotland) +i went 4a walk and found a little music shop, i woz ace!but i didnt have alot of money (cuz i woz 13/14) so i cud nly get the single of grc.ive been a fan eva since. i went 2c them last may(sunday 25th) at aberdeen where i was blown away cuz(of course they were amazing!) but i cudny go2 the party ater as i had a biology exam the next day+so i had 2go home:( (i aced the exam +i believe its cuz i was still exited bout the night b4). well i have successfully managed to get 4of my friends into ltj(the rest call them less than shite)+i am going to c them at glasgow on the 25th o this month!am sooooooooooo excited!oh, and ive neva met them,im no relation, i dont speak 2 ne of them and im over my roger obsession!lol.but they are all gr8 and i luv them all!:)

well...if they have contests for the next tour after projekt revo, maybe you can get in free... so you've been a fan for 4 years? wow, that's dedication. if only i was educated for that long :)

Well I first heard LTJ nearly 4 years ago after I saw them tippexed on someone at school's bag...so I checked them out, thought it was good. Fast forward a few months, it was coming up to my 14th birthday and I really wanted to go and see a band. Seeing as my mum totally hated all the crappy nu-metal I listened to at the time (how incredibly embarrasing...nu-metal) we compromised and bought tickets to the Extreme festival which LTJ were headlining. So off I went, and enjoyed all the bands. When LTJ came on, it was the coolest thing I had EVER seen, they were fucking amazing. So from that day onwards, they have been my favourite band. I've only seen them twice but I'm going on Friday to see them at the Brixton Academy. It's gonna be awesome.

Hey there! now last time i read this site i was jealous of everyone who had seen ltj and met them...thinking that would never happen to me...wrong! Last nite I saw them play cardiff+chatted to chris (about being lost in the union building...and about canadians!!)+to roger about him doing everything his mom had told him to do!!+then JR found us at the end, when we were waiting for my mates (one had to be taken to hospital cos she got moshed severely!) and he was so damn nice and caring! and he was genuinely concerned! They are great great guys and talented musicians! But they av caused me to be awake for over 40 hours now!! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! The Leeds University and the Manchester Apollo gigs were amazing!!!! A.K.A's were great too!! I love LTJ to bits and hope they are around forever!!! Favourite LTJ song- Its a toss up between All My Best Friends, Gainsville Rock City, Johnny Quest and more recently Selling Yourself Short and Look What Happened. less than jake really are a great band. i mean, ive been to concerts of bands that rock to listen to but theyre like complete assholes when you meet them. ltjs guys are sooooo nice! plus theyve got amazing music. i actually started liking him because this guy in school i had a crush on came in wearing an ltj shirt. i figured if i listened to them we could talk. well, he was an asshole but i stuck w/ ltj :-). someone tell me the craziest thing someone did or said when they went to an ltj concert, ive always heard they were wild but the ones i go to never get that way. oh well...

i went 2 c less than jake in cardiff and i was in the shop under the union chosing alchopops a roger sed o girls stocking up 4 the shjow issit ?I turned around and he was just smiling at us omg how lush lush lush so tanned and his teeth r so white, dreads were all glossy so i went outside and he signed my paper. then later on i spotted him again and he sed hey anf hows it goin. then a fat girl chased him round the bk of the tour bus claiming he kiseed her...yeh righto...the guys from the AKa's are totally lurvly and i had a hug from ythe singer and a bangle from the tall goodloking one. he signed my paper also and then we got lost in the building. they were so down-to-earth it was amazing. best night of my life luv y'all and roger xxxxxxxx

How is it possible that a band cant make a 1 bad song AND make each album impossibly hardto get bored of. I cudnt choose a favourite song - but at the mo I have just worked all of The Brightest Bulb Has Burnt Out/Screws Fall Out on bass and guitar and I cant stop playin it (must b pissin off my mum). I saw LTJ for the 3rd at Manchester Apollo in May and it makes me want to cry/smile at how much I love them.....Id die for them lol. But n e way I threw and E.T pezon stage and Rog got it (so i am happy). I have posted some photos of Less Than Jake playing at LeedsFestival that I took and at the signing tent just before they went on.

Hey, ok I wanna tell the story of my first LTJ gig! It was just so goddamn cool! It was the first time they'd ever played my hometown (Aberdeen, Scotland) and I was super duper excited. I remember I'd had my ticket for THE LONGEST TIME!! They postponed twice (I cant remmeber why) and I was so impatient, it seemed like i had been waiting for years....But the day came and it was well worth the wait...Anyone who has seen LTJ live they'll know, when you're waiting in line or that period after the last support band, the minutes go by so slow...And then...When they come on stage...Its like an explosion and suddenly you're jumping and singing and not thinking...It's the ultimate...I remember they had an after party but I couldn't go cuz of the bio final the next day...to which i wore my new LTJ shirt, and which, by the way, I got an "A" in.

Hey ok so i got B is For B sides... HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! This record,can i say, is just...Christ I don't have the words...Lets just say I'm listening to it for (roughly) the 10th time today...And it STILL ain't old...Thats gotta say something, for sure. I prefer this to Anthem, I mean, Anthem was good, but it was a little too...Clean? But this reminds me of the best bits of Pezcore and Borders and Boundries...If you don't have it yet, get yourself down to the record store! I had to buy the import because i am British and evidently we suck. Ok, I think everyone on here is British. i am American. I first heard of Less Than Jake when I was 15 in 1995 I heard the song Soundcheck on the Misfits of Ska compilation, so i wrote a letter to them, Derron wrote me back, and said they would be coming to my town in a few weeks. i went to see them, and hung out with them backstage after the show. After that I was hooked. I loved them, i loved their music, my whole life revolved around them. i saw them two more times, then in 1997 I followed them with Blink-182 across the country. At shows they even changed some of the lyrics to my name instead of Jen or Johnny Quest. it was so much fun. They played a show on my 19th birthday in NYC, and made me go up onstage and said happy birthday to me. That was really fun. I was really good friends with them from being such a big fan. i havent seen them in like over a year, and I miss them, but i grew up. im now 25, and I have my own kid, but I was a die hard fan for almost 10 years!
