Another band like Riff Raff we "true punks" all loved to hate, yet we kept coming to see them at Friday Night Dive and the Rathskellar and wherever else they were playing. Jerry was really cool, he was the brother to the guitar player (sorta like Van Halen), although the name "Charlie" doesn't ring any bells. They were like 10 years older than we were too (at least the guitar guy and Jerry), which makes them then like 10 years younger than I am now. Monotonous corporate covers of current punk/new wave songs, with lyrics they often made up because the guitar player (who doubled as the singer) had trouble figuring out the words from listening to the records. But if you were drunk they sounded OK. We were jealous of them because although they stunk, they actually were in a real band, could more or less play their instruments, and actually played out places.
