I almost forgot about Dance With Francis. The serious power trio of the Summer of '92. Rock on!

Hi, Chris Ticknor here. I occassionally run across this site when reminiscing about Gainesville and music, and I've often thought it odd that I'm included, but I was indeed in both Bicycle Thieves and Smart Bomb, so there you go. I was also in a band called the Guernseys with Mike Ulliman on guitar and various drummers (Doug Martin, Alex Richards(?), Brian Lutz, Eddie Sanchez) that very few people saw, and I played in the University Jazz Band.

Now I'm living in San Francisco, CA where strangely enough there are quite a few Gainesville folks. We even had a band with Eddie Sanchez, Russell Tillitt (of Dingo Fish and What It Is fame), Steve Frederick (of Jubilation fame), and Fred Sanchez (of Supercripple fame). You can hear some live MP3s at Julio (Fred) Sanchez's MP3.com page.

I have some current music up on my page at MP3.com, as well.

Also, why does no one remember Dos Zapatos? Did we forget about soulful metal, or did we just forget about love?

Enjoy, Chris
